Purpose of the Toolkit
NIACE DC has been commissioned by DELLS to research and develop a best practice tool kit consisting of guidance and evaluation techniques to be used to assist in measuring the value added benefits for learners of learning which falls beyond the scope of qualification or credit-based outcomes and which is not accredited by any specific learning organisation or learning awards body.

The main beneficiaries of the Project will be Adult Community Learning providers (“ACL”) in Wales in the first instance, since ACL incorporates a significant element of non-accredited learning. In the longer term, the relevance of the tool kit for measuring outcomes of non-accredited learning in the context of other providers will be explored but this is outside the scope of the current Project.
